Breaking Patterns! Shift Your Life’s Dynamic
November is finally here, this has been a long awaited month for me, I am not sure about you but if you are a twin flame you will be welcoming this energy with open arms and tonight’s full moon is no exception.
Maintaining A Positive Attitude
Last week, we spoke about self respect, this week I am going to look at maintaining a positive attitude on this journey. I have noticed that there is so many of you just ready to give up, because you have just hit too many stumbling blocks.How do you prevent these feelings from coming up to the surface and consuming you?
How about firstly you choose to be happy. It can be as simple as telling yourself everyday, that you are going to be happy and when negative thoughts enter your mind, just refuse to look at them, doing your best to substitute them with happy thoughts.
Looking at the bright side of life may not always be as easy as saying it however but I am sure if you think about it you can find one good thing in your life everyday to be thankful for. . It's a matter of choice and repeated attempts, by repeated attempts I mean, if you are having a bad day, then know it is just one day and do not take the negativity into a new day with you.
It’s All about Choices
Choose to be optimistic, think about how you can find a way to make a situation better, instead of just giving up and saying, there is no way it can be done, like that old saying, “Instead of saying why me, say try me. Know that you have got this, there is nothing that can bring you down. Having faith in yourself is very important. Also believe that the universe can help you.
Find reasons to smile more often, even the little things in life can make you happy, I find much of my happiness on the faces of my children, if they are smiling, I am smiling. You can find reasons to also, if you search for them. Try and make friends with other people who are happy. Do not allow the negativity of others to bring you down.
Each morning when you wake, visualize how you would like your day to be, the things that you would like to happen, keep your focus on this instead of what you don't want. Learn to master your thoughts and know that you hold the key to your destiny. It always starts with you!!
Did you make a list of goals and intentions at the beginning of the year, if yes, how far have you come with these? Have you everything that you wanted to accomplish done or is that list that you wrote with good intention and just forgot about? Are you a doer or someone who sits and waits for others to do things for you.
What I Overheard
I was recently listening to a conversation that two ladies were having about their ex husbands, one was sitting there whining about how the kids were going to school in his district and how he won’t drive over to meet her as she was not allowed on their property, so her friend asked her the question, if you had full custody would you be able to get the kids to school, her answer was no because he would not come and met her halfway. Is this you, if so WAKE UP, no one is going to carry you through life, you have got to stand up and do things for yourself. While there is no shame is asking for help or having someone guide you, know that you must work too.
Furthermore, I also wish to talk to you about breaking patterns. We really all have a lot of them that keep us trapped in thoughts, and actions and we wonder sometimes why we do these things when we look back at how we have lived our life. By looking at some of the patterns in our lives which may not have been positive and be willing to change them, it can shift our lives dramatically either in small ways leading to bigger changes or a drastic change that shifts our perspective and allows us to create new healthier patterns to create a new life in wherever we’re focusing that attention.
How do these patterns begin? The ones that seem to cripple us into habits that we repeatedly do over and over again and sometimes more often than not mindlessly or without actually thinking and realizing what we are doing and why we do it. Something we do not even take into account is our upbringing and the conditioning from those around us from the time we were very young.
The way I see it is this, many habits and things that we do now as adults were formed when we were very young, from birth to around the time we turned 8, so we act as though we are on autopilot, from the foods we eat to the thoughts we have about ourselves and others, Someones we act on, came from what we heard and were told from our parents and other adults in our lives, plus yes, the tv, radio and the things we read. These subtle and sometimes direct influences from words, and actions and such we see and are told formed who we are. Many times creating detrimental patterns that result in low self-esteem, low self-worth, lack of self-love and the ability to have compassion for ourselves.
What we don’t realize as adults until someone points it out to us, is that we can change this “programming” because that is essentially what is. From what we did from work or as a career choice, whether we went to university or not, whether we got married or didn’t etc, right down to how we deal with others and how we feel about life and ourselves. Much of where we are right now is as a result of what happened during our early childhood. If you are truly willing to review your upbringing with upright honesty and see what patterns were created and how they have you where they are, what they trigger in you and make the conscious decision to change it you can. These things molded us into who we were as teens and young adults, much of the time without us realizing it until much later in life. Each thing leading to the next in succession throughout our lives in almost every area of it.
This is part of your journey as a twin flame as well. We agreed to these situations before we became human in this life. It is what your souls asked for in order for you to learn to become the best version of yourself.
Time to be honest with yourself
So this week I would like you to be honest with yourself and really look at your life and the things that have happened, what you’ve done, what decisions you made etc. Now of course we are not 100% responsible for all of this because the words, thoughts, actions we have influence others in our lives and their words, thoughts, actions are reactions to what we do, say and think. Write down any of the things you feel that you have learnt as a child that you have carried into your relationships and way of life today. We will figure out how to work on these next week. I expect to see lots of completed lists!!!
