But You Were Sleeping

There is a storm brewing in my heart
My soul is waking up
My mind says it is time to find you
But you are sleeping!

I know you are out there
Waiting for me
Just like I am for you
I reach out to find you
But you are sleeping.

They say I am the leader,
I must guide you,
Awaken you,  
The soul doesn’t lie,
But you are sleeping!

When you wake I will know,
I will feel it in my soul,
I am preparing
I will be ready
But you are sleeping!

When you awaken
You will see
There is no one else for you
But me!
