Do I Sit Here & Wait For You?

While I sit here and wonder what you are doing,
Are you thinking of me too?
Do you know how I am?
Or what I do?

Life has not always been fair to you,
Your troubles have been more than a few,
I am here for you
Do you know this about me too?

I can tell deep down you are aware,
Who I am to you,
Do you know I see this too?
I sit in the darkness,
Looking for a light a new,
For me and you!

I dream, I feel, I grew,
I lived, I have learnt,
To be someone new,
Have you too?

Do I sit and wait for you?
Are you waiting too?
