​The day I met you
My whole world changed
What was once grey
Now showed me hope
How could this be real?

Day’s and weeks went by
In a haze of happiness
Then you were gone
Loneliness descended
My heart cracked in two

Would this love ever be whole again
Only the universe knew
I sat in the darkness
Waiting and searching for the light
I once knew

You came back
Our lesson was through
One again
Forever more
Our love truth!
