What Do Most Twin Flames Forget On Their Twin Flame Journey?Hi All Over the past few months I have been learning more than ever about human nature and how we act as a society. It seems to me that not many of us can be ourselves for fear of judgement. Worrying about what others will think of us and what we are going through. The topic of Twin Flames is very rarely discussed among friends because there is a huge lack of understanding for who we are and what we do with our lives. Yes, the judgement is real and you are not alone in feeling that way. LabelsWe all live in a society where we are hardwired to fit people into neat perfect boxes. Think about this as soon as you see someone you categorize them. We regularly apply labels to people whom we barely know or have never even met, and the same is done to us. I believe that on a whole we are obsessed with labels because we find it difficult to comprehend things that do not fit into our conditioned beliefs or those premade boxes that society has provided us with. In life everything seems to have to have a label and what happens within that label is often misunderstood or the information that is out there blurs the lines. These labels can be the result of unfounded assumptions and stereotypes. If you take the label Twin Flame away what do you have? Two people who love each other? Two people who are meant to be together? Two people that the stars need to align for? Or two people who are on an amazing but difficult journey together in a quest to find inner happiness and a love so great that all issues can be surmounted? A beautiful journey where you have found the ultimate love that a person can ever feel? Throughout our lives people attach labels to us whether we like it or not. Those labels can reflect and affect how others think about us and of course what we think about ourselves. It is important to note however that these labels are not always negative. They can at times be positive and help us to set out useful goals and bring sense to things that otherwise do not bring you clarity. Thus, for good or for bad, labels represent an influence on our identity that is often beyond our control. It is time to reflect on those labels and why we put them there in the first place. Perhaps the only label that should be put on someone is their name! Food for thought right. Be Unapologetically YouWhen I am out and about I often pay attention to what is going on around me and one evening while out for dinner with my family I saw these labels and conditioned beliefs in full flight and I have to say it left me totally disappointed with humanity. There was a person at the bar being unapologetically themselves and a group of older ladies at the table next to ours were talking rudely and loudly about this person the whole time they tried to get our family to join in but we were having none of it. The things they were saying were totally uncool and I could never engage in something like that. Of course they were not being diplomatic about it at all. I know you are wondering what this person was doing that upset this group of ladies so much. Wearing nail polish and carrying a purse is hardly gossip worthy but it is (to them) if you were born male. The person they were speaking about picked you their purse and proudly walked past them. Being unapologetically them. Another example of how society tries to form us human beings is my youngest son, 11 years old, who loves to wear nail polish. He is not picky about the colors however when he wore it to school once he was picked on. It is not a problem in our family to be yourself. However now he feels that he can not do this anymore not on his fingers anyway but he 100% paints his toenails and he does this as a way of being himself right now without having to deal with the hurtful words of others. Think about that! Do you push your strong beliefs on others or do you allow them to explore and find themselves? I would be very interested and love to hear your stories on this! Have you found yourself holding back your true beliefs because of what others will think of you or treat you? If so I want you to apologize to yourself for not being true to you. Sadly we all do this and one point or other so I am sure you can relate. Be ready to be you in your truest form and never apologize for being yourself because you were created exactly how you were meant to be. Have you been searching for understanding and not being able to find that non judgmental space? If yes please feel free to connect with me. I promise to never judge you. Forgetful Twin FlamesTime to move on to what most Twin Flames forget when on their journey! I know that is why you are really here.
I know this one will have got you thinking and trying to figure out what it is that we all forget. Some answers when I put this question out to the group were very interesting but I did not expect to see this answer there and it was not. Why was it not there? Quite simply we do not think of ourselves. We are always thinking of others and our Twin Flames and what we can do for them. The long and short of it is. Twin Flames do not fill their cup, in fact they do not even know that they should. In today’s world we are all busy. There is always something to be done, someone to help. We seem to be forever trying to catch up. Thinking of your Twin Flame and how to move forward on your journey is exhausting in itself. Wondering how they are doing. Contemplating how I can help them. Even sleeping can become difficult as we become consumed with these thoughts and all the while we are forgetting ourselves. This makes it hard to find time to unwind. To unplug from this journey. Even life in general is so busy the idea of unwinding and unplugging sounds nice however those feelings of guilt creep in. I have so much to do, I will let someone down, someone will inevitably be disappointed. Everything and anything seems like a priority. So we just keep moving but what we do not notice is that our cup is leaking slowly at first. Then boom we begin to feel burnout and from that burn out comes feelings of being not worthy, I am not enough, this journey is not working out, how did I get to here and they just do not love me. They are not changing, they are not working. Why do I bother? Sound familiar. Our bodies are equipped to handle stress in short bursts, not long term. It’s no secret that long-term stress has many negative effects on the body. Right there and then it is time to stop. Simply stop! Who helps you out? Who fills your cup? Is it time to fill your cup? The answer is you. You fill your cup because you can not pour from an empty cup. I am sure you have heard the instructions when you are on a flight to put your own oxygen mask on first before helping others put on their oxygen mask. To fill your cup means to recharge your mental, emotional and physical energy. It means you need to stop and take a break. You must do something for you. When you stop to fill your cup, you are recharging your batteries so that you can better deal with whatever you will face the next day. What can you do to help yourself out today? A stress free day A Twin Flame free day A long soak in a hot tub Some adult coloring books Puzzles Listening to your favorite music Meditation Read your favorite book Watch a good movie Do yoga Sleep in Learn something new Get a facial or mani/pedi Attend a self care workshop by Carol Mary (😊) Information for Self Care Workshop on 12/12/2021 This is just a short list of the many things you can do to help yourself and fill up your cup today. Which one will you do? I would love to hear from you on how you practice self care. Self care is not selfish, it is necessary. Final Thoughts It is important to remember that one size does not fit all. That each person and their journey is unique. When you categorize yourself or put a label on yourself you do not reach your full potential and remember that you are more than just a label. Be yourself, everyone else is taken. Take a moment today and think about yourself and remember that you are important too. Much Love Carol Mary P.S I am currently running a special offer to buy 3 coaching sessions and get one free.
